In October 2023, a momentous acquisition occurred. Industry leader Mitel purchased Unify and became the second-largest UC provider in the world, and we're beginning to see how that one purchase positively impacts our industry. 

Negotiations with Atos, Unify's parent company, began in January 2023 and continued for nearly ten months. Once the Mitel Unify acquisition was finalized in October, Mitel gained 75 million users in 100 different countries, plus 5,500 strategic partnerships with service providers and resellers who worked with Unify.
