Compatibility & Buying Information
Exact Product: This page is for the CyberData 011377 InformaCast Enabled RGB Multi-Color Strobe sold under NTS Direct SKU 011377-Z.
InformaCast Enabled: The 011377 is designed for Singlewire InformaCast visual notification. When an InformaCast page is received, the device can activate a configured color, brightness, and strobe scene according to the notification settings.
10 InformaCast Priority Levels: CyberData supports up to ten InformaCast priority levels so different notification priorities can produce different visual behaviors. CyberData notes that InformaCast 9.0.1 or higher is required for this priority-level functionality.
Current InformaCast Integration: CyberData currently identifies compatibility with Singlewire InformaCast 12.1, including support for downloading SIP credentials directly from a compatible InformaCast deployment.
011377 vs. 011376: The 011377 adds native Singlewire InformaCast support. CyberData 011376 is the related standard SIP RGB Multi-Color Strobe for deployments that do not require native InformaCast integration.
Indoor Model: The 011377 is CyberData's indoor InformaCast RGB strobe. Customers requiring an IP-rated outdoor InformaCast strobe should use the CyberData 011489 rather than treating the 011377 as an outdoor endpoint.
Custom RGB Colors: Red, green, and blue values can be adjusted to create custom alert colors. Brightness for normal scenes can be adjusted from 0 to 255.
ADA Scene: CyberData's dedicated ADA scene flashes white at maximum brightness. Other scenes can be customized for different notification requirements.
Five Scenes: The device provides five configurable scenes that can be associated with supported SIP, multicast, InformaCast, sensor, and other activation events.
Multicast: Up to ten multicast addresses can be configured. Each multicast group can be assigned a priority, and CyberData supports multicast operation compatible with IGMP through version 3.
SIP Call Signaling: The strobe can be included in compatible SIP ring or call groups to provide a visual indication when calls or pages arrive.
Message Waiting: The device can provide a blinking visual indication for SIP message-waiting status and stop the indication after the message has been handled.
Relay & Sensors: The onboard 1A/30VDC relay and sense/tamper inputs can participate in supported event workflows. A sensor event can be configured to activate the relay, initiate a SIP alert, or flash a selected strobe scene.
PoE: IEEE 802.3af PoE provides power and network connectivity through one Ethernet cable. CyberData's current shared Quick Start Guide specifies Class 0 with up to 15.4W allocated by the PoE source.
Alternate Power: When PoE is unavailable, a regulated +8 to +12VDC, 1000mA source can be used. The external DC power supply is not included.
No AC Voltage: CyberData states that the enclosure is not rated for AC voltage. Only the documented PoE or regulated low-voltage DC power methods should be used.
Mounting: CyberData supports direct wall mounting as well as compatible single-gang and two-gang electrical-box installations.
Best Fit: CyberData 011377 is well suited to schools, offices, financial institutions, courtrooms, warehouses, manufacturing areas, and other indoor facilities that need Singlewire InformaCast visual notification, SIP and multicast alerting, customizable color-coded events, and PoE network connectivity.
