CyberData 011442 - Flush Mount Kit, 2X
The CyberData 011442 Flush Mount Kit, 2X provides a recessed installation option for compatible CyberData 2X outdoor intercoms and access-control endpoints. Its stainless-steel flange, inner mounting frame, gasket, and installation hardware allow a compatible CyberData backbox to sit partially inside the wall for a cleaner, lower-profile finished installation.

Accessory Only: The 011442 is a mounting accessory. The compatible CyberData intercom, network cabling, PoE or power source, door-control equipment, and other system components are sold separately unless specifically included with another SKU.
2X Form Factor: This kit is designed for compatible CyberData products using the larger 2X outdoor intercom format. It should not be confused with CyberData 011443, which is the smaller 1X Flush Mount Kit.
Current Compatibility: CyberData's current intercom-selection documentation identifies the 011442 for the 011214 SIP Outdoor Intercom with Keypad, 011414 SIP H.264 Video Outdoor Intercom with Keypad, 011477 SIP Outdoor Intercom with RFID, and 011478 SIP H.264 Video Outdoor Intercom with RFID.
Legacy Compatibility: The 011442 datasheet also identifies the legacy CyberData 011310 Singlewire InformaCast Outdoor Intercom with Keypad as a compatible product.
011442 vs. 011443: The 011442 is the larger 2X kit used with compatible keypad and RFID outdoor intercoms. The 011443 is the smaller 1X kit used with compatible 1X outdoor intercom and access-control products. Verify the endpoint part number before ordering.
Wall Opening: Installation requires a 7.8 × 5.3-inch / 198 × 135 mm opening. CyberData also specifies 3/16-inch / 4.8 mm holes for the supplied plastic anchors.
Wall Materials: The mounting system can be adapted to drywall, stucco, masonry, brick, and wood. The installer should use the appropriate tools, anchors, sealing method, and installation practices for the actual wall material.
Weatherproofing: The flange gasket is used behind the mounting flange. CyberData's installation instructions also show optional weatherproof silicone sealant for exposed installations. Silicone sealant is not included.
Grounding: CyberData instructs installers to connect the compatible intercom backbox to its grounding point during installation. Grounding and electrical work should follow the endpoint documentation and applicable local codes.
Existing Backbox: The flush-mount kit works with the compatible CyberData endpoint's existing backbox. The inner mount is attached to that backbox and the assembly is inserted into the prepared wall opening before the flange and faceplate are installed.
Side Cable Entry: CyberData's installation procedure allows the existing backbox hole-plug assembly to be removed when network and other required wiring enters from the side.
Older Flange/Gasket Note: CyberData's current Quick Reference includes an additional instruction for older-design flange mounts requiring specified gasket pegs to be clipped before assembly. Follow the Quick Reference supplied with the actual kit revision.
