Avaya J179 IP Phone
The Avaya J179 IP phone is an elite, 8-line VoIP phone for executives and power users.
This model features third-party call control (3PCC) using the open SIP protocol, making it interoperable with a broad range of VoIP phone systems. It cannot be used with Avaya Aura or Avaya IP Office.

- Supports optional J100 Wireless Module for Wi-Fi connectivity and/or Bluetooth wireless headset
- Built in volume boost control in handset for hearing impaired
- Mute key with mute alerting
- Dual 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet ports to support co-located PC
- Supports up to three JBM24 Button Modules - Up to two JBM Button Modules can be powered by PoE or PoE injector; external 5V power supply (see accessory below) is required if adding more than two JBM24
- Supports up to three JEM24 Expansion Modules - A single JEM24 Expansion Module can be powered by PoE or PoE injector; external 5V power supply (see accessory below) is required if adding more than one JEM24
- Power over Ethernet Class 1 (class 2 with JBM24/JEM24) and support for 802.3az
- Powered via Power over Ethernet (PoE) or optional PoE injector (sold separately; see drop down option above)
