PEPLINK BPL-021
The Peplink Balance 20 BPL-021 is a compact business SD-WAN router designed for small offices, branch locations, retail sites, and other networks that need reliable multi-WAN failover, load balancing, VPN connectivity, and centralized cloud management. It provides four Gigabit LAN ports, two physical Gigabit WAN interfaces, and USB WAN support for flexible wired and compatible USB-based backup connectivity.
Balance 20 delivers up to 150 Mbps routing throughput and supports Peplink SpeedFusion VPN, SpeedFusion Connect, Drop-In Mode, VLANs, IPsec and remote-user VPN, application-aware QoS, captive portal services, InControl cloud management, and management of compatible Peplink access points. The second physical Ethernet WAN port requires the applicable BPL-021-LC-WAN activation license on Peplink's current configuration.

Exact Model: This page is for the Peplink BPL-021 Balance 20.
Balance 20 vs. Balance 20X: Balance 20 and Balance 20X are separate hardware platforms. Balance 20 does not have an integrated cellular modem, Wi-Fi radio, GPS, or FlexModule Mini expansion slot. Do not substitute Balance 20X specifications on this BPL-021 page.
Second Ethernet WAN: Balance 20 contains two physical Gigabit Ethernet WAN ports, but Peplink's current technical specification states that WAN 2 requires the BPL-021-LC-WAN WAN Port Activation License. Without that activation, one Ethernet WAN port is enabled.
USB WAN: Balance 20 includes one USB WAN interface for compatible supported WAN equipment. USB compatibility should be verified for the specific modem or adapter being used.
No Integrated Cellular: BPL-021 does not contain an LTE or 5G modem, SIM slots, eSIM capability, or cellular antenna connectors.
