Compatibility & Buying Information
The Fanvil CA400 is a complete conferencing kit consisting of the CM70 camera, MS10 screen-sharing speakerphone, and RC10 receiver hub. It is intended for BYOD conferencing and does not operate as a standalone SIP desk phone or dedicated room-computing appliance.
The standard workflow connects the RC10 to the room display and CM70 camera, while the user's computer connects to the MS10. The system then provides wireless screen sharing and wireless access to the conference camera together with USB conferencing audio. Fanvil specifies plug-and-play operation without dedicated software or driver installation for the core CA400 workflow.
The CA400 supports compatible computers with appropriate USB connectivity. Fanvil includes an H2C adapter to support systems that cannot use a single full-featured USB-C connection, but individual laptop ports differ in their USB, DisplayPort, and power-delivery capabilities. Confirm the host computer's available ports when planning the installation.
The optional Fanvil CP20 screen-sharing pod can be added when additional wireless presentation transmitters are required. Fanvil specifies support for one MS10 together with up to three CP20 pods; CP20 units are optional and are not part of the standard CA400 package.
