The EnGenius ECS6824F is a cloud-managed 24-port Layer 3 fiber switch designed for small to mid-sized enterprise core, aggregation, and backbone networks. Its 24 × 10G SFP+ interfaces deliver high-speed fiber connectivity for servers, storage, wireless infrastructure, access-switch uplinks, and other bandwidth-intensive network devices while providing advanced routing, VLAN segmentation, multicast optimization, QoS, and security capabilities.

Compatibility & Buying Information
10G Fiber Switch: The ECS6824F uses SFP+ network interfaces rather than standard RJ45 Ethernet ports. Compatible SFP or SFP+ transceivers, DAC cables, or other supported fiber connectivity must be selected based on the required speed, fiber type, connector, and distance.
24 x 10G SFP+ Ports: The switch provides high-density 10 Gigabit fiber connectivity for access-switch aggregation, servers, storage systems, wireless infrastructure, and enterprise backbone links.
No 100G QSFP28 Uplinks: Unlike the higher-capacity ECS8830F and ECS8854F, the ECS6824F does not include 100G QSFP28 ports. It is designed primarily for 10G fiber core and aggregation deployments.
Layer 3 Routing: IPv4 and IPv6 static routing, RIP, OSPFv2/v3, and VRRP allow the switch to perform routing and gateway redundancy directly at the core or aggregation layer.
