The EnGenius EWS7928FP-FIT is a 24-port Layer 2+ managed Gigabit PoE+ switch built for small and midsize business networks that need high PoE capacity, centralized management, and reliable wired performance. It provides 24 Gigabit Ethernet PoE+ ports, four Gigabit SFP uplink ports, and a 410W total PoE power budget for powering compatible wireless access points, VoIP phones, IP cameras, and other network devices.
Designed for EnGenius Fit environments, the EWS7928FP-FIT combines a 56 Gbps switching capacity with VLANs, Voice VLAN, link aggregation, spanning tree, multicast management, access control lists, 802.1X authentication, DHCP snooping, QoS, port security, and other business-class networking features. 410W Total PoE Budget: The EWS7928FP-FIT provides a shared 410W PoE budget across its 24 powered Gigabit Ethernet ports. The combined power requirements of all connected PoE devices must remain within the total available budget.
Higher-Power 24-Port Option: Compared with a 240W 24-port PoE+ switch, the EWS7928FP-FIT provides substantially more available PoE capacity for deployments with larger numbers of access points, cameras, VoIP phones, or other powered devices.
Four Gigabit SFP Uplinks: The four SFP slots provide uplink flexibility using compatible Gigabit SFP transceivers. SFP modules are selected separately based on the required fiber type, connector, and link distance.
Gigabit SFP, Not SFP+: The uplink interfaces operate at Gigabit speeds. Networks requiring 10 Gigabit uplinks should select a switch equipped with SFP+ ports.
