i501W vs. i501: The i501W adds built-in 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi 6. The standard i501 does not include Wi-Fi but supports PoE. The i501W does not support PoE and must be powered from its 5V / 1A DC power adapter.

Power Adapter Included: Fanvil's exact QIG specifically identifies the power adapter as included with the H601W and i501W wireless models. It should therefore be treated as a standard package item for this SKU rather than an optional accessory.

Network Connection: The i501W can use its built-in Wi-Fi 6 connectivity or 10/100 Ethernet for network access. Using wired Ethernet does not provide power because the i501W itself does not support PoE.

Door Unlocking: The dedicated unlock key can remotely release a compatible door station when properly configured with the SIP and access-control system.

Short-Circuit Input: The built-in short-circuit input can be configured for compatible external trigger applications. Exact behavior depends on the connected equipment and system configuration.
