CP700X vs. CP700: CP700X builds on the CP700 platform with integrated Wi-Fi 5 wireless networking, PoE Class 3, and support for up to four KM600 expansion modules. Standard CP700 does not include Wi-Fi and supports up to two KM600 modules.
Built-In Wi-Fi: Unlike models that require a separate wireless adapter, CP700X contains its own Wi-Fi interface and can connect directly to compatible 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz wireless networks.
Wi-Fi and Ethernet: CP700X can operate over wired LAN or Wi-Fi. When a usable wired LAN connection is present, the wired LAN connection takes priority and Wi-Fi is disabled.
PC Port During Wi-Fi Operation: Mitel specifies that the phone's PC Ethernet port cannot be used while CP700X is connected to the network through Wi-Fi.
