Mitel KM410 OpenScape Key Module
The Mitel OpenScape KM410 Key Module L30250-F600-C585 is a programmable expansion module designed for compatible OpenScape Desk Phone CP410 and CP710 phones. It adds sixteen physical function keys with three-color LED status indicators, giving receptionists, administrative users, supervisors, contact-center personnel, and other high-call-volume users faster one-touch access to lines, contacts, call-handling functions, and frequently used features.
The KM410 uses simple paper-strip labeling instead of electronic displays, providing a cost-effective way to expand the number of dedicated buttons available on a compatible OpenScape desk phone. Up to four KM410 modules of the same type can be attached to one supported phone when the phone's power configuration allows it, providing as many as 64 additional programmable physical keys.

Compatibility & Buying Information
Exact SKU: This page is for Mitel OpenScape KM410 Key Module part number L30250-F600-C585.
CP410 and CP710 Compatibility: Current Mitel documentation lists the KM410 as compatible with OpenScape Desk Phone CP410 and CP710 models. CP110 and CP210 do not support this key module.
16 Physical Keys: Each KM410 adds sixteen physical programmable buttons with three-color LED indicators for functions such as lines, contacts, speed dials, presence, call handling, or other system-supported features.
Paper Labels: The KM410 uses replaceable paper labeling strips rather than electronic displays. This keeps the module simple and lower cost while providing more physical keys per module than the KM710.
KM410 vs. KM710: KM410 provides sixteen paper-labeled programmable buttons. KM710 provides twelve buttons with electronic TFT labels and two programming levels. Choose KM410 when the priority is maximum physical-button count and simple labeling.
Maximum Four Modules: A compatible CP410 or CP710 can support as many as four KM410 modules when the phone is powered appropriately, providing up to sixty-four additional programmable buttons.
PoE Limitation on CP410: Current Mitel administrator documentation states that only one key module can be connected to a CP410 when the phone is powered solely through PoE. Up to four modules can be used when an appropriate external mains power supply is connected.
CP710 PoE Configuration: When a CP710 is powered by PoE, Mitel specifies support for up to four key modules when USB power is configured for 120mA, or up to two modules when USB power is configured for 500mA. With an external mains power supply, up to four key modules can be used.
Do Not Mix Module Types: KM410 and KM710 modules cannot be mixed on the same host phone. All attached key modules must be KM410 or all must be KM710.
Plug-and-Play Recognition: Compatible OpenScape phones automatically recognize attached key modules. Individual functions are then assigned through the normal phone or administrator configuration interface.
Programming Stored by Host: Mitel states that key-module programming is stored with the host phone rather than permanently in the module. Moving a KM410 to another phone can therefore require the buttons to be reconfigured.
Best Fit: KM410 is especially well suited to receptionists, administrative assistants, supervisors, contact-center staff, and other users who benefit from a large number of dedicated one-touch buttons and do not require electronic key labels.
