Mitel KM710 OpenScape Key Module
The Mitel OpenScape KM710 Key Module L30250-F600-C586 is a programmable expansion module designed for compatible OpenScape Desk Phone CP410 and CP710 phones. It adds twelve illuminated programmable keys with electronic display labeling, giving receptionists, administrative users, supervisors, contact-center personnel, and other high-call-volume users faster one-touch access to frequently used lines, contacts, call-handling functions, and workflow features.
Two integrated 2.8-inch TFT displays provide clear electronic labels for the twelve physical keys, while a dedicated Level Shift key provides a second programming level for up to 24 entries per module. Compatible CP410 and CP710 phones can support up to four KM710 modules of the same type, allowing large-scale programmable-key expansion without replacing the primary desk phone.

CP410 and CP710 Only: Current Mitel documentation lists the KM710 for OpenScape Desk Phone CP410 and CP710 models. It is not listed as a key-module option for CP110 or CP210.
12 Physical Keys / 24 Entries: The module has twelve physical programmable buttons. A Level Shift key switches between two programming levels, allowing up to twenty-four programmed entries on one module.
Electronic Labels: Unlike the lower-cost KM410, which uses paper labeling, the KM710 uses two 2.8-inch TFT displays to identify programmed key functions electronically.
Monochrome Displays: Current OpenScape CP G2 documentation identifies the KM710 displays as high-contrast monochrome TFT displays. Older product listings that describe the KM710 displays as color should be corrected.
Up to Four Modules: A compatible CP410 or CP710 can support up to four KM710 modules, providing forty-eight additional physical programmable buttons. With the two-level key assignments, four modules can provide up to ninety-six programmable entries.
Do Not Mix KM410 and KM710: Mitel specifies that a phone must use one key-module type. KM410 and KM710 modules cannot be mixed on the same CP410 or CP710.
Plug-and-Play Recognition: Compatible host phones automatically recognize attached key modules. Individual button functions can then be assigned through the normal OpenScape phone administration or user configuration interface.
Programming Stored by Host Phone: Key-module assignments are associated with the host phone configuration rather than permanently stored in the module. Moving a module to another phone can therefore require the keys to be configured for that phone.
