Teltonika RUT271200000 RedCap 5G Router eSIM (Global)
The Teltonika RUT271200000 is a compact industrial RedCap 5G router designed for IoT, remote monitoring, industrial automation, smart infrastructure, retail, transportation, and other professional deployments that need the low latency and improved efficiency of 5G without the cost or complexity of a full-capacity 5G router. Built on 3GPP Release 17 RedCap technology, the RUT271 supports 5G Sub-6 GHz Standalone connectivity with download speeds up to 223 Mbps and upload speeds up to 123 Mbps while remaining backward compatible with 4G LTE Cat 4 networks.
This RUT271200000 Global version adds consumer-type eSIM support with management for up to seven eSIM profiles and also includes a physical Mini-SIM slot. RUT271200000 Global eSIM Version: This order code is the Global RUT271 configuration with consumer-type eSIM support and a Universal power supply. It supports the listed global 5G NR SA and LTE bands for deployments in supported regulatory regions.
5G RedCap: The RUT271 uses 3GPP Release 17 RedCap technology. RedCap is designed to provide lower-complexity 5G connectivity for IoT and industrial applications that benefit from 5G latency and network capabilities but do not require multi-gigabit full-capacity 5G performance.
Standalone 5G: The router's 5G connectivity uses 5G Standalone architecture. Confirm that the intended mobile operator supports compatible 5G SA RedCap service and the required radio bands at the installation location.
4G LTE Fallback: The RUT271 is backward compatible with LTE Cat 4, allowing the router to use supported 4G networks where compatible 5G RedCap service is unavailable.

Wi-Fi 4: The RUT271 provides 2.4 GHz IEEE 802.11b/g/n wireless connectivity rather than Wi-Fi 5, Wi-Fi 6, or Wi-Fi 7. It can operate as an access point or wireless station and supports up to 50 simultaneous Wi-Fi connections.
10/100 Ethernet: The router includes two Fast Ethernet ports rather than Gigabit Ethernet. One port operates as WAN and can be configured as LAN, while the second is a LAN port.
Passive PoE: The RUT271 can be powered through passive PoE on supported Ethernet wiring using 9–30 VDC Mode B. This is not IEEE 802.3af, 802.3at, or 802.3bt PoE and should not be treated as standard active PoE.
